The Table in the Wilderness
A Christian Life-Skills Training Center
It is our opinion, in light of the current national crisis of drug and alcohol abuse and related crime data, that we should focus training not only on recovery information, but that we should expand our attention to the discipline of life-formation.
The basis for our hope is in "seeking first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, that all these Things will be added to us." Matthew 6:33
Things like re-established relationships, sobriety with serenity, restored confidence, belief system based on absolute truth, devotion to God, commitment to life, assurance of salvation, purpose, understanding of a work ethic, significance, security, new identity in Christ, conviction, trust, principles and the list goes on... Things that will be passed on to the next generation of believers through changed lives and testimonies.
''You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.'' II Timothy 1:1-2
Let us set out together on a journey toward healing and newfound strength. Not strength found in worldly wisdom, but in the strength and power from a God who holds our best interests at His very heart. Let us never forget His sufficiency! Psalm 78:72
